What reason could a man have for not being on WhatsApp after 8pm on a Saturday night ?? Been messaging someone for a while (we can't meet due to lockdown! ) but I've noticed that for the last three weeks he disappears off WhatsApp after 8pm on a Saturday night, the rest of the time he is on WhatsApp regularly. Just curious !!

My first thought was he is with someone else but then I'm sure he would still be on WhatsApp not to me but generally.

Maybe he turns off WhatsApp/SM (snooze function) after a certain time? My friend does that.

Also, if he's 'with someone' right now then eh, he lives with them. So dodged a bullet?

WhatsApp is not a summons. I often don't reply because I'm doing something else - watching a film, reading, chilling, phoning my folks, having a drink in peace. If you expected an immediate reply I'd remove you as a contact.

@iklboo calm down !! I haven't been messaging him and expecting a reply !! I've just noticed that when I check WhatsApp he isn't online after 8pm I thought it was a one off but it's been the same for the last three weeks just find it odd that's all as he is constantly on line at all times of the day/evening the rest of the week.

Saturday nights after 8pm he's not on WhatsApp 🤔
Have you tried messaging him during this time on Saturday night to see if he responds? I think that's what I'd first do.

He must be seeing someone else but they're not living together. He only sees her on a Saturday night.

@priya38 yes I am inclined to agree sadly, he mentioned a while ago that he was still in touch with his ex so I wonder if it's her...

Was his phone off / only one grey tick?

If he’s with someone could be putting your thread on ignore when the ex is around or uninstall whatsapp....

Pub quiz, he would reply or read the message afterwards...
