Sexual attack

Hello,

I apologise if I'm posting this is the wrong place. I've tried to search similar posts. I've also already posted before but no one answered :(

I live overseas and have a close expat friend that has been having an awful, awful time. She's been diagnosed with PTSD and has regular convulsions which looks like epilepsy, but not.

She's been in therapy with a fantastic British woman and finally got to the root of her problem, she was sexually attacked whilst at Uni. That and a very troubled upbringing have caused her to become very unwell. It's crippling for her.

I'm looking for some UK support groups or forums where she could talk anonymously to people who have been similar situations. Where we live is too small, it's not the sort of thing we want everyone to know about.

If anyone could please point us in the right direction, that be wonderful.

Thank you so much

That's terrible. She could contact Rape Crisis - they should be a really good support. Shouldn't she be talking to her therapist, though?

She should see her GP who will be able to refer her to her local support group
