Friendship websites

Hi

I just wondered if anyone has used a friendship website and what are they like? I have lost contact with my previous friends - busy lives / family / work / home etc and would just like someone to chat with whether that be online or (after the coronavirus) to meet up for chats etc. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a friend to catchup with … I've looked at friendmatch.com and it says it was on Dragons Den so am thinking that it will be reputable?!!

Has anyone else tried any? Just nice to send messages or something so I don't feel so isolated.

bumble has a section for matching with friends. I haven't tried it tho.

I've found meet up good although have only just started using it. They organise real life get togethers outside of covid-19 which gives you the opportunity to meet people. The people I have met have been really welcoming and friendly and I hope i can build on that which life goes a bit more back to normal

Plus air B and B are doing experiences as well which is a way of chatting to people

Looking for same. Like OLD except as friends, not dating. Will take a look at friendmatch
