Covert Narcissism

Dear fellow mums,

Has anyone worked and or lived with a covert Narcissist?

Any suggestions on any support systems available and solutions on how to become financially independent so one doesn't have to rely on spouse are welcome.

Especially if you have 1 DC and what this may mean on their future.

Thanks

Are you financially reliant on them?

What's your real life support network like?

There is a lot of info to be found. Advice would depend on your specific situation - dealing with a work colleague or housemate is very different from having a parent, child or spouse with NPD traits.

Its taken many years to realise. I am very much isolated and just recently trying to save. Extremely unhappy and constantly gaslighted. Family and most common friends support DH. Family needs my needs my DC needs are always last. Boundaries are not valued or respected. The requirements are constantly changing to fit with DH needs. Its all so subtle that no one notices. There is so much support networks in USA but in UK i do not see anything for people in this situation. Very hard to find support networks or solutions to become financially independent.
