What have you achieved that you would never thought possible?

I have a little girl who is almost 4, she is happy and confident and just brilliant. Looking back over my neglectful childhood and abusive marriage I would never thought that I could have created a little girl like this.

What have you achieved that you would never have thought possible?

The fact I've done everything without help.

I left my 10 yr relationship to an abusive man, I've lived all over the uk due to work, I've now got a really well paid job that's flexible and I enjoy. I've travelled to lots of places abroad, some in a motorbike. I've raced at club level too. Made stacks of really good friends, I've got two dd's, adopted one and I'm about as financially stable as I can be after all the racing and travelling I'm in my late 40s and feel I can look back in my life so far and feel proud of my achievements and glad I did everything I did. Roll on the next 20 yrs.

I never thought I would manage to pass my professional qualifications, it was really hard, but I managed it.

I never thought I would be a Dad, that’s definitely the best (and most surprising!) achievement.

Got a full apology and compensation from my LA’s children’s services after their witch hunt of an investigation. Most of the credit goes to my partner who wouldn’t let me give up when their gaslighting tactics got to me.

I haven't self harmed for a year :)
