Utterly confused

Hey everyone

I’m feeling down and utterly confused I was seeing a guy and he seemed so interested talking about how he wanted to go away, starting conversations with my friends, was just making out like it was something more.

Anyway he then goes quiet and starts avoiding me and then all of a sudden he’s abroad with some new girl ( might I add during the peak of quarantine where we are legit not suppose to travel)

I feel blind-sighted particularly as I even game him an out ..it’s really knocked my self esteem that I’m not even worth an explanation I even feel completely gaslighted by him

I’m 32 and I feel I’m really trying o meet someone but I just feels bad date after bad date or situations like this

He was even older than me !

He sounds like a bit of a dick, going away during this time kind of proves that.
The fact he hasn't offered an explanation about his actions shows he also isn't someone you should be spending your time on or getting upset over.

I had this loads when I was dating, especially online and as I got older and felt left behind I used to make some bad decisions and put up with behaviour I shouldn't of, don't fall into that trap. I know it's cliché but he's shown his true colours and you will meet someone else, who treats you with respect.

Thanks.. your very right I mean just shocking and rude really rude .. I don’t know if I have the patience for someone who acts on feelings like that so quickly I think he’s known this girl for a while too and she just clicks her fingers like that
