Date night in lockdown

Been in my relationship for 3 years now, engaged for about a year and a half, getting married in about 8 months.

Our relationship is amazing, we have both always worked a lot so have been through a lot of times where we haven't been able to see each other much. We always make the effort for date night and giving each other ample attention and love.

We are both key workers and both very stressed and have been going a while without seeing each other. We catch up over text or phone and sometimes he goes out of his way to spend 10 minutes with me to catch up on our lives.

With everything going on I just want to spoil him a little bit more as he really deserves it. I just want some ideas on what I can do to spoil him as I am always doing little things like dinners and takeaway and movie nights etc and obviously we can't go out anywhere.

If you have an evening In together why not dress up as if you were going out? My dh have started to do this every Friday evening and bring my make up case and razor out of hibernation. We usually eat a nicer meal and then play a dancing game like Justdance for a boogie

@Bigoldwimp this is a lovely idea!

We used to do something similar where he would take me over to my parents in the morning and I would catch up with them for the day and then get all ready and he would pick me up and take me out to dinner. Felt like our first date over and over as even though we lived together we would go back to the time we didn't and it just felt so magical. Just want to be able to do something as magical while both stuck in the house. I'm deffo going to do this!
