Obviously I'm aware things are expected to be slower given current circumstances, but how long is normal to wait for correspondence from solicitors? In a family case if that makes any difference.

We emailed my exh solicitor on the 9th march, and had a response on the 17th to say it was being discussed but as yet I've still heard no more.

This adds to my current anxiety.

I have no experience of family law solicitors but all my other experience has been that they move unbelievably slowly unless someone really puts a rocket behind them. This may because their clients are slow in responding but sometimes I just cannot understand the delay. Weeks between anything seemingly happening are normal.

Depends what your discussing really.
Soon like a long time but again it all depends on the question
