American Style Dating

Has anyone ever tried American style dating?

As far as I can figure out is where you date more than one person at a time, and meet them for coffe or lunch or an activity rather than dinner or drinking.

See shopping.guardian.co.uk/valentinesday/story/0,,1414558,00.html for more info

It seems a good idea to me and I am going to try it.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any experiences of it and what people thought of it in general?

Ta muchly.

Duke, my take on American style dating is that you are allowed to 'date' more than one person at once therefore apparently giving yourself the best chance of finding Mr-Mrs right, when you've chosen the one you will then become an exclusive couple. Kinda sounds like what i did when i was 14!!

I'm American. A naturalised Brit. Don't waste your time on 'American style dating'. It's not taking - it's mindfucking people about.

Your made to feel the whole thing's some kind of audition. Yeah, I really want to win the role of arm candy to some stuck up loser.

And they're not just 'dating' more than one person at a time, they're shagging them, too.

Give it a swerve, trust me!

I did and never looked back

it's not 'dating', that is.
