Can’t work ‘late’ if you’re WFH or laid off
Can’t go to the ‘gym’
Can’t meet ‘friends’ for a drink

Cheaters are fucked for a while huhWink

I thought this earlier. How will affairs survive!

Sicktiredanddown · 20/03/2020 20:11

Online

fartyface · 20/03/2020 20:14

I've been thinking this.
It is giving me joy!

SistemaAddict · 20/03/2020 20:14

Every cloud...

WhereDidAllTheFunGo · 20/03/2020 20:49

Theres going to be a lot of people "popping to tesco for toilet rolls" and returning home 3 hours later empty handed...

Thats probably the latest cover story!

SociallyDistanced · 20/03/2020 20:52

This occurred to me earlier too.

diamondsandrose · 20/03/2020 21:01

Texting , FaceTiming , phoning on the quiet / from the car
Going for a walk / run
Going to the shop / pharmacy
Going for a drive

Heartburn888 · 20/03/2020 21:07

Disappearing to do the big shop for 3 + hours and the excuse will be something elaborate like they were punched because they picked up the last toilet roll and ended up having to go to a and e and then the police station to give a statement all the while their phone has run out of battery.

mamato3lads · 20/03/2020 22:33

Didnt even think of this but find it quite amusing Grin

Craftycorvid · 20/03/2020 22:38

I love being a Brit’ sometimes Grin. So, life-threatening issue yada yada, but how will folk get their end away? Yes, a lot of mischief will go on line!

HollowTalk · 20/03/2020 22:38

They'll just be on their phones the whole time.

IndoorWeather · 20/03/2020 22:40

This is at least the third Mn thread on this. There is clearly an entire subsection of society who lives through a pandemic worrying, for entirely abstract reasons, how people can shag illicitly.

WanderingLost167 · 20/03/2020 23:37

They will get through, spending their time wishing they weren't with their spouses, but with the other person.

Where there's a will...

Livandme · 20/03/2020 23:49

Dog walking. Useful if both parties have a dog. Otherwise, not useful at all!

NoMoreDickheads · 21/03/2020 00:28

Theres going to be a lot of people "popping to tesco for toilet rolls" and returning home 3 hours later empty handed

Lol!

I imagine most cheaters have a mate who'll cover for them - they could just say they're going to their mate's for a drink.

Or going out for a walk/run. A lot of them might take up running Grin

Cloudywithrainbows · 21/03/2020 08:31

This reminds me of a time my cheating stbx went out to do the Xmas food shop one evening whilst I stayed at home with the dc and was gone hours! Told me he had to go round ALL the supermarkets and his battery died, and I believed him!

ALittleBitConfused1 · 22/03/2020 10:48

Ha ha I was thinking this. I think over the next week there will be a fair few people leaving their marriages for their affair and once the unavoidable lockdown is put in place there will be a lot of people moping around at home with their spouses wishing they had left.

SybilWrites · 22/03/2020 13:53

I think social media and phone is the cheater's main outlet for a while isn't it? Lots of time to message women on a variety of apps etc.

ime phones and social media make it VERY easy to cheat and the opportunity is increased now we're all at home.

turkeyontheplate · 22/03/2020 13:55

My teenagers keep ribbing DH about how much he must be missing his "side bitch"
