I'm scared

Hi,

I've posted before re STBEx but I'm still in the same house as he refuses to discuss divorce ( papers have been written but not served).

I reported him to the police for verbal abuse which was in front of 7 yr old son but H didn't know I'd reported him.

I'd given a statement and police looked through a series of abusive messages on my phone and recorded them.

SS got involved and assessed ds and the case was closed .

This was a while back . Today he found out I'd reported him ( I don't know how) and has gone mental but only via text.

He stated ' he works so hard and this is how I repay him and he has a black mark against him he can't defend'

I know this is insignificant with the problems and worries with Covid-19 but I just wanted to tell someone x

What are you scared of?

OhCaptain · 17/03/2020 18:41

Why are you scared? Do you think he’ll hurt you?

You can still contact the police if you feel in any way unsafe.

Bluemascara4 · 17/03/2020 21:51

Thank you for responding ( I appreciate everyone has bigger worries right now).

Scared of his reaction . I'm just getting the silent treatment of which I can deal with .

Terrified of having to self isolate!

Why haven't you divorced him OP? I don't remember your last thread.

CharlotteCollinsneeLucas · 17/03/2020 21:57

No, come on, that's not a trivial worry at all. Don't put yourself down just cos you're used to him doing it. Flowers

Are you hoping to move out or waiting for him to? I was so relieved to get out of that stage when I was separating from my now XH. You're constantly on edge.

Bluemascara4 · 17/03/2020 22:17

@CharlotteCollinsneeLucas yes I'm constantly on edge and nervous .
Our son was getting 'love bombed' by him while i was being very obviously ignored .

We sleep in separate rooms and ds has decided to sleep in with me as he's worried about my mum ( over 70 with cancer but currently well) so I can only hope H doesn't start wanting me to feel sorry for him .

@Bluemascara4 what an awful way for you to live. Sad

Is there anywhere else you or he could bunker down? With a relative?

As long as it’s not a house full of people you should be ok?
