Stitches after birth

I if you’ve had a second degree tear how long did you wait to have sex with stitches?🤭

had ten stitches, was pregnant before my six week checkup.

had sex with disposable stitches still in about two weeks after birth.

I waited 7 months and 3 months, respectively. But that had nothing to do with stitches, though I assume they would have been fine around the 2-3 month mark. We just had better things to do (like sleep!) and sorting birth control that I was comfortable with was a priority first.
