Am I being jealous, I have no friends I'm 41 years old an have 3 kids a 17, 3 years old boys an 10 month old baby girl.
I don't go out anymore, or any where as I don't have anyone that I could go with, my partner sees his friends an goes out every few weeks, my eldest goes an sees his gf an goes out an then their is me who is at home with 2 kids all the time, don't get me wrong I do work so not home all the time. But I wish I had someone that I could call up an say Iets go for a coffee but I literally gave up an looked at my family life now stuck in a rut!! I try make plans with my other half to go out but we never do an he never suggests either, he will go out with his mates an come back an tell me where they been an even says oh we had this that an the other we should go their...... But it never happens, last time I went out was my eldest birthday this time last year!!! I see other people going out all the time, but never me....I even hint at the fact I'm always at home, but I feel like all the life I get is to go shopping an home an that's my outing or to the park with the kids. I feel all alone. I get upset about this regularly but pick myself up an tell myself I'm just not worth it. My life revolves round work, house work, laundry an my 2 little kids. Is that all my life is about.

I feel your pain.
Flowers for you OP
I'm in pretty much the same position minus the work and partner.
Sorry I can't be of any help. Hopefully someone will come along with some advice that haven't already tried.

Stop hinting and ask people if they fancy a coffee. Start making efforts to build yourself a social life.

is there anyone at work you get on with? what about other mums from school etc? Sometimes you have to put yourself out there and just ask people. There are also Meet Up groups online - have a look at those. Or could you take up a hobby to meet people that way?
