I have signed up to Match and paid a trial price for a month . My trial expires in 2 days and I feel completely deflated. Loads of likes and matches but 0 conversation. OLD is so crap it makes me physically sick . I have been single for 7 years and dipped my toes in free sites over years only to encounter weirdos perverts and liars . I’m officially done

Are you instigating any chats? I was on match for a while but didn't find many men that I clicked with. I met my bf on Badoo after a friend recommended it. I deleted my match account, switched to Badoo and met my now bf a few weeks later. From memory it was a good bit cheaper as well.

Yes I tried with 0 result . It’s like all the men want their ego boosted by being liked . Worse than playground

Have you tired Tinder or Bumble? You only match with people that you like.

So you both have to like each other to be able to communicate, well in Bumble the women instigate first contact.

It's a minefield. I'm cheesed off big time with OLD, and decided I'm prob going to be single for life :(

I tried Tinder and Bumble last year . Honestly I thought because you pay for Match you get something out of it .How wrong was it 🙄

Old is just an easy and quicker access to what is out there.

You need to use it without expectations.
It will happen at some point.
I was single for my whole 20's, 8 ish years then met dp in a club ( never go clubbing)
All was wonderful until I found myself writing on the relationship board and realise relationship suck too!

I know people lie cheat are abusive .i had all those lovely experiences with my ex husband but would love to be able to bury my nose in someone’s back once in a while plus fed up with fixing everything in my home

Op I get that, I just find that spark of affection comes at a price and it maybe because I've been on OLD the last few weeks but they all show signs of bad ex's

Plus the worse part is they don't consider using OLD as cheating so a lot of them are on there and it's normal why you get a few convos or a date and then they are gone.
