OLD - am I unmatching too soon?

How long do you give someone to reply to your message? I tend to give them a day and a half/2 days, then I’ll just unmatch if no reply received.

I’m talking after just like a flattering first few messages , a day or twos chat, Followed by a ‘I’ll text you tomorrow and we can discuss arrangements to meet up blah blah’!

Am I unmatching too soon? Party of me thinks I’m not hanging around whilst they work out who they prefer or to just never hear from them again. The other party wonders if I’m. Self sabotaging by cutting them off too quick?

I give it a day for them to make contact or reply otherwise I unmatch. Like one of the other posters said, people should be a bit keen. There was only one recently who didn't chat for a week (after a conversation). I didn't unmatch and he popped back later saying he was trying to play hardball and see whether I would write to him! I didn't.....but we still chat

Recently I was chatting to someone...which led to a phone call. Next day he text to say he had seen me active online and so would not be pursuing things any further.

Omg what a nutter!! It's quite good when they do stuff like that though in a way - get the red flags out nice and early!

Booberella9 well I couldn’t see if he had been online but I saw his location change from Tuesday evening all the way until Wednesday mid morning, after which time he was back in his hime town! not sure how location on tinder works tbh, if he had had to log in so his location was ‘active’ or whether his location just changed regardless of whether accessed tinder or not!
