Decided to register on a few dating sites the other day (bit hard getting out meeting people when all your mates are settled & married) the question is...are the paid sites actually worth paying for? I've noticed the gimmick pay to unlock who likes you etc etc could just well be a con to get your money. Anyone here paid and had success? Feedback most welcome.

Not an active dating app user...but there is a thread on this forum specifically about the online dating adventures. I am sure those readers could help you make decisions about the world of OLD. I believe the general sense is that many people on the paid sites are also on the free sites. You have to be careful not to be scammed by the service provider, sending fake messages that you can only unlock with payment. However, with payment of membership I suppose it lowers the risk of scammers, chancers and time-wasters.
