Depends on what you want really. With Eharmony, you don't get to do much - just hang around, after filling questionnaires, and wait for them to send you matches before you can message but with Guardian soulmates, you can start up conversations yourself and do your own matching, etc.

You can also look around and see what 'type' of people are about on either. Might give you a clue as to where to go.

Unless you live in London or another very large city, both are useless. Too few people pay subscriptions so can’t see or respond to messages and you end up being matched with people miles away. Plus most of the people on them are on the free sites as well anyway. Try OK Cupid or Bumble.

I found there were too few people outside of London too, but it did work, took 4 months, (neither of these) but tinder is good for just fun Grin

I think every person has a different experience with OLD. I paid for match but found it terrible and have had more luck on tinder. However I've got friends who met their husbands on match and hated other sites. It seems to be all about numbers and a bit of luck!
