Siri ‘Top Hits’ Help

Hi all, hoping someone can help as Google isn’t. If you pull down the Siri search and type in someone’s first name and it says last missed call and text is from mid Jan. Is that even correct? And why is that person a ‘top hit’? I’m sure you’ll all get why I’m asking this.... thanks for your help

Just tried mine and it looks right. Sorry.

Also showed a few things I was surprised it had access to...!

I have just tried it with people in my phone who I never contact and they still come up with "Top Hit" it must mean they're the closest match to what you're searching rather than the person's most contacted etc. The same seems to be with messages, the message might not necessarily be to them, it might just mention their name so I'd check who the message has actually been sent to.

I hope you're ok OP.

Agree with PP, top hit is simply to closest match in your address book to what you are searching. I just tried it with someone that I haven’t contacted for at least a year and the still came up as Top Hit.

However, the fact you are even checking suggests something is amiss - do you have other reasons to be suspicious enough to be checking?
