Call Womens Aid. Or the local Domestic Abuse agency. Call the police. Explain clearly that you are in a Domestic Abuse situation and are afraid.

While he is out, gather all essential documents.

Once you make a call, you will no longer be alone in this. Let the professionals guide you, and get you somewhere safe.

I'm going to call womensaid. Not the police as he has cctv that covers our front door so would see them coming in.

Good for you. You're being really brave taking the initiative like this.

Good luck, I'm sure they'll help you do what you need to do. Flowers

You poor love. Be aware that if you report him to the police I’m sure they don’t necessarily have to turn up at your door - you can tell them about the CCTV and that it might put you more at risk.

Women's aid can't always answer straight away OP, but don't let that put you off. You may need to call the police anyway if you can't get through, you can't go on like this. Previous posters are correct, you will need to be seen to be taking steps to protect your kids from living with this evil man.

You're being very brave. You can do this, and literally the second you reach out, you won't be doing it alone. Much strength to you.

foodiefil · 09/02/2020 17:02

Good luck. Take strength from the fact that this is the RIGHT THING to do by you and your children.

He's a fucking bastard this is NOT YOUR FAULT

Nursery has a duty to report disclosures like that. A home where violence is witnessed by the children is a home where violence is likely to escalate towards the children also.
You need to seek advice, lots of numbers on the link here. You ought to call the police. They will also involve social services but it’s clear in you making contact with them first that you’re doing it to protect your children, you will be offered a lot of support. They won’t take your children unless they’re in immediate danger, but you must keep them safe.
