Evening all!

Wondering if you can help me out with some ideas!
My partner works his absolute butt off in work, working crazy hours and giving it his all.
Long story short he has been looked over for a promotion and I'm absolutely devastated for him! He more then deserved it (I use to work with him and know a lot of his colleges also are shocked he was overlooked).
Wondering if anyone has got any ideas of anything I can buy him to make him feel that little bit better?
I'm thinking of a mans version of flowers and card (no x rated suggestions please!!)

Smile

A hug, a takeaway and a bottle of wine!

DH would be happy with his favourite takeaway, whisky, huge bar of chocolate and something good / brainless to watch. And then something x-rated Wink

Steak & BJ day!

We had similar just before Christmas. I gave him a big hug, had a chat about it then cooked his favourite meal and just chilled & did no housework that evening. I also got him his favourite chocolate.

Hope DH doesn’t feel down for too long, I’m sure another opportunity will come his way!

Thanks everyone Smile we ended up getting a takeaway and having a nice bottle of wine and started looking for new jobs for him!
Onwards and upwards it's their loss!
