I’ve just decided to end my 9 year marriage with my husband, for various reasons of his behaviour towards me. He said he’ll change but I don’t believe him and despite giving it another go, we are finished.

We currently live in a 2 bed terraced house with our 6 year old DS. I work part time and pay the mortgage, council tax, tv, internet, broadband and my DS hobby, ex pays for everything else.

He refuses to move out and I can’t afford to. His viewpoint is that he didn’t make the decision, I did. Can anyone give advice on where I stand?

I’d like to know rough costs of gas water and electric as considering taking them on myself - our mortgage is quite low so it’s maybe doable.

I think he’s right that you can’t force him to move out - can you sell the house? And go and stay with your parents in the meantime?
