When did you get back to DTD after birth?

Baby born New Year's Day, I've had a rough time as my mother died a week later
Dh has been hinting at sex since 2 weeks pp. I was cut and had stitches for that and also minor grazes which could have been stitched but I refused as I couldn't take any more .
I don't feel too bad downstairs, but still sore, nothing more than I'd expect after such a procedure
Just wondering when everyone else got back to DTD with only minor birth injuries ?

Tbh I can't think of anything I'd less like to do and don't think I will for a pretty long time

A few weeks after. I did have a very easy birth though, no trauma etc.

Sorry for your loss , what's going through his head, is he devoid of empathy and consideration,

NotAPan · 30/01/2020 23:34

offer to inflict the equivalent injuries on his ballsack, perineum and arsehole, then let him tell you when he's ready

(Don't do that. Maybe just fantasise about it a little.)

About 10 days but had a very quick, easy labour. DD was prem and only just over 5lb, i had one stitch for a graze and wasnt sore. She was very ill and had to have bowel surgery at a week old so i think we both needed the intimacy, comfort and time together. Was absolutely fine luckily and didnt hurt, although uncomfortable for about 5 seconds.

10 weeks, I had an episiotomy and was still sore until then. It was me who instigated it though, I think he would have felt bad asking before that incase it put any pressure on me

Get one of thise slimmish but scratchy bottle brushes. Tell him you'll have sex with him after he's pushed the brush in and out of his urethra over a period of 30 minutes because that's how much FUN it would be for you to have sex this soon PP Angry.

Similar to you in terms of vulval attrition and I left it 12 weeks PP.
