Name change for this ..
been with my Dh for 8 years, 2 kids and engaged. We have been through absolute hell and back together, both cheated previously, split up and got back together and we are finally in a good place...
but
Someone has been flirting with me and I met up with him and kissed him, I don't like this person he's not my type nor would I ever wanna be with him so why on earth did I do that ?? Genuinely so confused that I've cheated when I'm in a good place with partner, I think I just crave attention :/ I'm prepared to be grilled I need it

God knows why you did it....especially as you dont even find the guy attractive Shock personally, I'd say it was an attention thing. If a guy finds you attractive that boosts your self esteem ... but then you take it too far.

Ask yourself why. You probably know. Does your husband give you attention? Love? Intimacy ? Compliments ? You're craving something. Work out what it is.

Stop cheating on your husband though. You are walking into a world of pain and it's just not fair. Sort yourself out....if theres something lacking in your marriage that's leading you to behave like this either sort it out or end the marriage surely ?

Self esteem probably also plays a part. Do you feel good about yourself? If not you are seeking validation....but again, in the wrong places.

Soul search OP and be honest with yourself about what you need xx

You need to decide what you want. If you want to be with your DH then you need to get some self restraint and stop cheating on him. If he doesn't give you what you want then you need to leave him.

Your boundaries were weakened when you both cheated before. They never go back, really
