Perimenopause and sex!

Hi, I would really appreciate any helpful advice.
I am 45 and in perimenopause. I am really struggling with my lack of sex drive. I have a new partner, I find him really sexy but I just don’t get as turned on as I should. It’s driving me mad. I came off hrt as it made me gain so much weight, I have an appointment at a clinic in a couple of months to review it and see if there is a solution.
Has anyone got any advice at all? It just seems so unfair that I am with a man I really love and trust but my lack of desire is making me think what is the point😕

I'm nearly 47 and have had similar. Personally I wish the menopause would just hurry up, I am totally done with periods.

Just enjoy the fact that you fancy him and don't worry what you "should" be feeling? Also since 40-ish I've found things are much better when slowed right down. try massage. IME men absolutely love it.

That’s a very good point thank you.. he does love a massage - I will make it last longer, and I think I am just getting in a tizz about it.
