I wrote about asking a guy who I fancied out for a drink. I was blunt and said I found him fit and wanted to ask him out for a drink as may not get another chance ( basically because I wanted to give it a shot before trying old again ).
He said he was glad to hear from me and he that he would have to check when he was free and he was heading back home a lot ( true ) . I thought okay, sounds like a brush off . I said let me know when ur free. No reply to that , then I said oh you don’t sound too keen . He said no I just need to work out when I’m free. We texted a bit back and forth.I said would you like it to be a date or a catch up . He basically said let’s meet and see what the story is.
He’s not into me is he ? I’ve chased him and obv that’s not good .
To give context , he is an old work collegue . There was some attraction there mutually. It’s been quite hard work dealing with him as I was hoping for a yes or a no.
The issue is, he genuinely is busy at the moment and the things he is saying are legitimate .I won’t be texting again though.
