I'm online dating and despite wading through lots of profiles i just don't fancy anyone at all! I think its the thought of online dating too

I think you’ve got to look at people who are the right age and local to you. Also you like what they have written and you don’t find them unattractive. A lot of the fancying or not happens in person

So dont do it? If its not for you thats fine.

The only way ill ever meet anyone is online though. I think its the thought of the men chatting to all and sundry that puts me off

OP - I know exactly what you mean. Online dating is a numbers game and it is all down to luck.

I agree, it's a number game, if you find someone's conversation interesting and their photo at least vaguely attractive then meeting them for a coffee is the only way to know if you fancy them, I found most men were much more attractive in the flesh, they tend to take much less care about choosing a good photo, lighting etc. I didn't particularly fancy DP even on first sight but his personality won me over and by date two I was struggling to keep my hands off him. Don't make the mistake of trying to choose a boyfriend from an OLD profile, you're just choosing someone to have a first date with.
