It's the little things

I work in a pub two nights a week meaning I get in about 12.30am if I'm lucky. DP has to get up at 5am so I sleep in the spare room so as not to disturb him. He leaves my PJ's, face wipes, my book and a glass of squash on the side for me. When I first started, to save from disturbing me in the morning he left a love heart on a piece of paper outside the bedroom door in lieu of a morning kiss, and he leaves the same note every night now. It melts my heart and stops me from killing him when he's snoring his head off on the nights we do sleep together. It's definitely the little things that count!

He sounds like a sweetheart who puts some thought into making your day nice. I've never been in a relationship like that and am jealous. Well done - treasure what you have.
