Help!

I need advise, my partner and I have 2 kids together, and I have 2 kids from a previous relationship, one of them is a 16yr old boy that has been getting in a lot of trouble and doing drugs, we have found drugs in the house a few times, which is very hard on all the family, my partner has been supportive tru it all, however the last few weeks he has changed, him and my son don't even talk. When my partner cones in from work the whole atmosphere in the house changes and he has a look which I can only describe as hatred whenever my son is in the house with us, I have confronted him and he has admitted that he does in fact hate my son, I just don't know what to do...please advise me.

I understand your partner being fed up with your son but hating him is extreme. The boy is only sixteen. He's behaving badly at the moment but that won't improve if he feels he is despised in his own home.

Please talk to partner and try to make him see that his attitude is not helpful, then work out ways of being helpful between you. Maybe the boy would respond to being given a bit of responsibility.

16 is a difficult age, lots of kids act up but if handled calmly, it passes eventually. Surely partner knows that, he was a teenager himself once upon a time.

What are the drugs, weed or something else?

Mostly weed, but we have found mdma in his bedroom too.
