New relationship anxiety

Hi all,

I hope everyone is well. This is my first post and I suffer with diagnosed anxiety disorder so may I please ask for gentle replies.

I am not going to give too many details so as to remain anonymous.

I am dealing with a real dilemma and would welcome kind insights and opinions as it is really hard to get perspective.

I have been seeing my new boyfriend for a few months. Everything seems to be going well, he is consistent, we have shared that we love each other and we see each other very regularly. We have spoken about the future, he is supportive etc.

I am struggling with trust and anxiety issues however. I guess that is in general and also about another issue also which I will explain

In general i know i just need to chill and let things develop, but having been in difficult relationships in the past this is far from easy. I am paranoid about his loyalty even though i don't have any evidence for any worry.

And in addition we have a complicated situation in that his child lives in another country with his ex. When they divorced it was agreed she would live abroad with the child but that he would have contact via vists. When he visits he is allowed to stay there to save costs as the air fares alone are hard to afford.

I am struggling with this a lot as it doesn't feel appropriate but I am scared to put demands on as it is early in the relationship. I doubt there would be any wrong doing but I'm not sure I can deal. I don't want to leave him over this but I just don't know how to manage. I get the impression it can't change. What would you do?

I look forward to hearing constructive thoughts. Thank you.
