Not sure if the title is right or the section I've posted in, but just wondering if anyone has every craved someone they've never met? Wether it's a celebrity or someone on telly or social media?
Or fell in love with someone they've never met but have seen a lot on the internet or films?

I don't think you can love someone you've never met but I've definitely had intense crushes on a celebrity or two!

Sherbertx · 22/11/2019 15:04

@Waxonwaxoff0 who were/ are they?
I have a very intense crush on Joe Cole and can't shake it off! (Actor) (im in my 20s!)

I've had a few, usually members of rock bands. Kurt Cobain is the most recent! I'm also in my (late) 20s.

It's probably because I'm a single parent and I don't really date, so I fantasize about celebs instead! Mine never last long, they're quite fleeting then I move on to someone else

Bluntness100 · 22/11/2019 15:24

Well no.,but crushes are common. What do you mean by intense crush and crave? How serious is this?

Zoflorabore · 22/11/2019 15:25

I had a slight obsession with someone I got talking to on SM not long ago and he felt the same. Pity there was 4500 miles between us! I had myself emigrating in my head and everything which is ridiculous as I have 2dc. We’re still friends but no more messaging and declarations of love after 6 days Grin

Zoflorabore · 22/11/2019 15:26

Ps and yes I very much craved him!

Thatagain · 22/11/2019 15:49

Yes definitely I usto be well into kurt cobain when I was at school and when he was alive. I am in my (30s) no one could compare. I still have a poster of him ( sad I know)
Now I love liam gallagher don't know why as he can come across like a idiot although I still take a deep breath when I see him on you tube or similar. I also usto like ian brown lot's I've seen him a few times and gone off him and Michael Owen he was amazingly handsome. At the moment it's definitely liam maybe.

No, I need to get to know someone really well to even develop friendship feelings towards them, let alone love. I also don’t crush on people, unsure why, I just don’t. Must be possible though as plenty of women swoon over celebrities 🤷‍♀️

Velveteenfruitbowl · 22/11/2019 15:56

The thought of poldark man still makes me weak in the knees. Not sure what his name is but I don’t need to know Wink

Waxonwaxoff0 · 22/11/2019 16:09

Also meant to say, I don't think there's anything wrong with it unless it starts impacting your life in a negative way - getting in the way of your normal romantic life for example.

Bluntness100 · 22/11/2019 16:22

agree if it's just a mild amusing fantasy and you've a normal life, normal healthy relationships etc then it's fine.

When it starts to impact your life, or the fantasy takes over real relationships, or even you get to mad stalker stage then that's when help is needed.

Sherbertx · 22/11/2019 16:55

No isn't impacting my life lol but I'd happily run away with him 😂
