Hi i want some support please- anyone who has been through the break up of their first relationship post divorce. I am struggling with no contact. The relationship has to end i know it does but i love him and im sad that he doesnt love me enough to fight for us. Has anyone been deeply heartbroken and then gone on to have a happy ending? Im mid thirties a single parents and scared I will be alone forever.

No wise words but I sympathise. I could have written this.
5 1/2 years together and he ditched me within three weeks of meeting someone else

So far I’m reminding myself of all his bad points every time I think of him and telling myself he’s done me a favour

Onwards and upwards for us both

Wish I knew
Apparently he ‘didn’t mean to hurt me’
And didn’t finish with me first because he didn’t want to hurt me but is quite happy to cheat and therefore hurt me a million times more
Such a coward
