need two witness for a wedding

Hello!

So me and my partner are booked in to the local Town Hall to be married on (November 12th 9:15am) grin for a wedding! The only problem is we need to find two witnesses. We don't have any family members or friends who could witness us so we're hoping to find two random people to help us out.

Has anyone had to find witnesses for their secret wedding before? If so how did you go about it? hope someone can help us. Many thanks!!

Can you get HQ to add the location to the title and maybe post it in the local area too? I'd do it if I wasn't miles away!

We did this, speak to the registry office and they'll sort someone out for you. We ended up having two girls from the office witnessing ours

Oh that's so exciting! Congrats OP! I'm not far from there and would love to be a witness, but I'm due to have a baby sometime in the next couple weeks. I'd hate to commit and then let you down st the last minute because I've gone into labour! But if you haven't found anyone by the night before, PM me! If I'm not in early labour / just delivered I'd love to do it!

Bugger, I'd have been there like a SHOT (we aren't far) but I have a school thing I have to attend for DS that day. I LOVE a wedding and have always wanted to turn up as a secret witness!!!!
