So we live in a rented house I’m carers to our two asd children 10 and 4 and I have a condition that’s made me unwell and family intensive support and adult social care are supporting us at the moment with aids in the house etc
So husband g v grumpy last night and turned nasty saying he just wants to leave us , I can’t recall the exact words now ! But basically we would be effed without him and we’re all useless weirdos
Obviously with no income this is the case but part of me thinks hang on I’m not put on earth to take your abuse and you don’t get to talk to me that way calling us all names and behave in a bullying way .
Thing is I’m likely not to get any custody being unwell so am not in a position to fight am I ?

I appreciate he’s under stress of course , but he has this nasty streak . And sometimes I wonder if we would be better apart with shared care ?
Just want to give it some thought and ask advice while I’ve got a bit of clarity

He's just being nasty.

would he want custody of the useless weirdo's?

Don't stay with him for that alone. Have you some family who can help?
Can you speak to social worker, tell them what he said to you, that you'd like to separate, how could they support you to do so and look after the kids.
Is this a permanent health issue or are you likely to recover?

You can't live like someone like that, it must be awful walking on eggshells. It'll help your health to be rid of him. You will be ok, you have a lot of help around you. Best wishes xxxxx
