What would you do if you suspected your child had read your diaries which contain many things about them and their father

It depends on the age of the child and what the diaries said.

That being said they shouldn't read your private stuff, so I'd have a word with them about respecting people's privacy.

Ask them?
Explain to them that diaries are meant for private thoughts.
Are you generally quite open with them? Let them know that they can talk to you about anything?! x

AmIThough · 01/11/2019 10:01

It depends how old they are.

Are you writing horrible things about your family?

funnylittlefloozie · 01/11/2019 10:04

Hide diaries better.

RLEOM · 01/11/2019 12:51

What's in the diaries? Sex? Insults? Secrets?

I write a diary and worry about my daughter finding them when she's bigger.
