Do you think my friend was rude to me here?

I have a friend and I'm always there for her, listen to her even when I'm not feeling great etc.
This week I lost my uncle and I've been quite upset.
Text her earlier "hiya hope going back to work wasn't too painful "
She replied
"Oh "Lucy" il talk another Time,my heads battered and I can't be arsed"
I just thought it was a bit rude considering I'm always there for her and I literally only asked how she was.
Plus she knows I'm not having a nice time right now.

Ok first off, relax☝🏾. The OP also asked what we thought about the message and I stated it was rude. Dassit.✌🏾

She still hasn't bothered texting.
I'm just going to leave it till she texts me.
She'd annoyed me a bit if I'm honest.

I think she was being very rude. I wouldn't bother getting into it now but perhaps in a couple of days perhaps say you were disappointed by her message.

You need to say “I’m feeling quite low, coming to terms with losing my uncle “.

She replied to your enquiry about HER.

People aren’t mind readers.

The can’t be arsed thing I assumed she meant she can’t be arsed with her job?
Have you misinterpreted it?

My friend could text me asking how my day is and I have texted back “it’s been a long day, I can’t be arsed”... meaning with my with, I can’t be arsed with my job.
I think you’re reading too much into it
