just wondering if anyone's done anything worse/ more embaressing - please someone say yes! lol.

DH and I were ahem a little friendly last night. PIL are staying and I forgot to turn DS's monitor off we were v quiet btw. but I remembered mid flow as it were that it was on .

anyhow wouldn't be so bad had DH not been bouncing on the bed in full lets let the neighbours know what were up to style shouting
'ooh yeah baby ooh yeah whip me baby' give it to me baby. (que me to do loads of girlie giggling) and telling him to shut up. anyhow DH is then saying 'if dad doesn't come up in the next half hour they're asleep if not he heard us and was waiting till we finished '

the worst part was this morning - after my total embarrassment MIL says 'ooh something was happening with the sky box last night' so I explained to her what had happened to it and she said 'oh we were watching CSI and I didn't want to shout up the stairs and ask what was wrong' major

we lived with them are all adults etc so they know it goes on but OMG!! now DH is saying 'oooh you vixen you next you'll be wanting to have sex whilst cleaning the windows' how embarrassing. haven't been able to look FIL in the eye all morning. (they went out pretty sharp at 8.30 as well)

(am a reg name changer btw wanted to brighten all your days but not let RL friends know my embarrassment!)

PMSL!

Have you noticed that the baby monitor is usually how secrets are discovered in films/soap operas?

julezboo · 16/08/2007 11:02

LOL !

I took my friend upstairs to show her my newly decorated bedroom the other day, forgetting that the moniter was on and our DH's downstairs we have alovely long chat about them !

blushingfuriously · 16/08/2007 13:30

lol@ flower - yes that's what reminded me when DS was 3 weeks old I was moaning about MIL to mum and MIL heard me thru the moniters - DH went in the room thou and turned it off, I came back down and he said 'you left the moniters on' MIL didn't talk to me for the remained of their stay (till my parents came which was 2 days later)

v useful storyline tool no? There is no point having an affair, secret pregnancy, secret different father of baby, in fact any secret at all in a soap opera unless the relevant person is going to find out at some point. Baby monitors good way of getting storyline moving!

DH and I call ours the 'loose lips', as in 'loose lips sink ships'

And we still had a v close call the other day when PIL were up!

blushingfuriously · 17/08/2007 11:25

they've gone now and nothing was said! lol. remembered to turn the monitor off last night - not that anything happened - was too knackered!

That is so funny, they might not want to take you up on the offer of staying again!!!

Just think how you and DH will laugh your socks off about this when you've got over the initial embarassment!

Thank you for sharing it with us though, I pmsl!!!!!!
