I just wanted to tell you all that my dh and I had our first night away 'sans baby' last weekend, for our third anniversary! It was FABULOUS. We went to Seckford Hall in Woodbridge, near Ipswich, which was so lovely.

My parents had ds for the night, and he was apparently really good for them. They looked knackered mind you when we picked ds up (!), but said that it was the responsibility that caused the lack of sleep, rather then him being a pickle!

I actually managed to restrict my telephone calls to one in the evening and one before breakfast the next day! We both missed ds, but were not worried about him, as he loves my parents, so we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

AND...mum even mentioned today that she will be less worried 'next time'...

Chinchilla, glad you had such a great time and your parents seem to think there will be a next time Sobernow, you should practice typing "My DH and I" shouldn't you?!! (unless I've got you mixed up, weren't you the "It's all form filling to me, pass the remote will you" discussion?)
