He’s smashed his phone up

Stbx has just smashed his phone up.
He was downstairs drinking and he’s been off work the past few days pulling a sickie. While I was in bed awake after giving DD a feed, I texted him to ask if he’ll be going back to work tomorrow, and he lost it. Came upstairs and put his bent up phone on the bedside table, and went back downstairs. I regret saying anything now.

I mean, how reckless can you be? He needs his phone! He’s got no insurance on it so he has no way of getting another one quickly. His temper is part of the reason I cannot cope with him anymore Sad

He sounds like an arse. Surely you would be better off without him.

CampingItUp · 04/10/2019 03:40

He sounds a mess, and a dangerous mess.

How soon is he to be an ex?

Have you got a plan?

Topseyt · 04/10/2019 03:40

I meant, you WILL be better off without him. You won't have this shit going on around you.

FruitSalad89 · 04/10/2019 03:44

End of this month thank god.
He’s been offered a flat that won’t be ready until the 27th, but it’s something. He’s looking forward to going and I’m looking forward to him going.

It sounds almost threatening, his dropping off the twisted phone on your bedside table. You will be well rid of him.

FizzyGreenWater · 04/10/2019 09:37

Well if you don't fancy waiting until the 27th, I would call the police, report his threatening behaviour when you are vulnerable in the house with him and a newborn, and get him removed. They will do it.

That's quite chilling - giving you the message that you do not dare question him, or the response will be violence.

That’s disgusting and very threatening OP
