been together 18 years, and roughly, about twice a week?
It'll be different for everyone, parents with newborns, VS people with no kids, are going to be worlds apart. Whatever you are both happy with, is normal.

If you aren’t interested in answering why try to be nasty with your shitty comments. There are many good reasons for people to ask. I remember when I was feeling pressured from my ex and being told everyone else is at it every night of the week. Sometimes its good to get a reality check and have that reassurance that u are normal.

And yes I need a bit a reassurance, I think that's it because I've moved in with my partner and wondering whats the norm, if there is such a thing. I'm finding it difficult to work, cook, see friends and pencil in sex and wondering if that's normal or if I can do something different.

I had a lover, but told him for now I'm not interested in sex- just my level of libido at the moment, and because I feel unattractive. What he wanted sexually was very hard work. I have perfectly satisfying sex by myself, probably a couple of times a week.

Please don't do anything you don't enjoy- even the basics. I decided I don't always like giving oral for instance (I also have never liked receiving it, so it's not unfair. :) ) What my last lover wanted was nastier than that...I've resolved never to do anything I don't like or want to do again. I think more people should think of sex this way-we shouldn't do things we don't want just because we feel obliged. Having sex one doesn't want isn't like doing other stuff you don't like to please your partner. It's grim.

If you’d written a bit more like a human “my dp and I do it 5 x an hour, he wants more”, or “I think once a decade is enough, do you agree?” then people would be less suspicious and answer your question more politely and truthfully.

We’ve been together 25 years and only have one child, who’s a teen, so regular sex is very manageable.

At least a couple of times a week, can be up to 5 times a week if we’re feeling frisky! No children (by choice) and DH has had the snip so can do it anytime, anywhere which adds to the fun!

Together for 20 years. In our fifties. About once a month, if I can face it. Less than that if I can't. Dh would like more. I would like none. Still appreciate a handsome man, but just can't summon the drive to do anything about it.

I think our slight disagreement is that my partner wants more per week and feels he's not doing enough to make it happen and feels I'm not attracted to him. Not the case!

The truth is my libido is lower and I want to increase it. Not sure how.
