dp sleeping on sofa again tonite why ?

we have both been working yesterday and today, last nite he fell asleep on the sofa so i left him there (thinking its just a one off). now hes saying hes sleeping on the sofa again. i have asked if hes coming to bed and he says "no im ok on here".

whould you start thinking things ?

Don't know, do you snore or are you a restless sleeper?
If not, then I wouldn't be very happy.

I go through insomniac phases and sleep dpwnstairs during these - just is nicer because I can get up as I please and read etc. If things have been okay between you lately I wouldn't read anything into it.

When you ask a lot of families have the mosst bizarre sleeping arrangements.

Sometimes either me or DP have ended up on the couch if the other is snoring or being very restless, this usually happens AFTER we have gone to bed though and one is keeping the other awake, not decided even before we get there.

we have been getting on fine. i asked him why and he just said cause i want to . i dont snore he does. and he normally has more than half of the bed when hes in it.

Offer to join him, chuck the cushions on the floor, grab the duvet...

our sofa is comfy for me as i fit, but hes legs hang over so surely not the best place to sleep. ha ha

I would ask if he wants to talk about why he's decided to sleep down there and if he says no then he's either a/ sulking about something b/ not telling you something

Either way, discuss in the morning - enjoy the bed!! Never good to address these things in the heat of the moment

Dunno Dior, my DP has often says he prefers the couch, the only reason he isn't there all the time is cos I would give him earache.

if i did join him he wouldnt know as hes well away now. i feel like waking him up and asking him again why hes sleeping there to see if i get a better answer but hes a stroppy type of person when woke and in the mornings

I do find it a bit weird as well, I would definetly be having words about it.

dior ha ha ha twin beds. im gonna tell him if he doesnt come bed im going to make sure i get a spare bed soon and tell him hes not to sleep anywhere but in the spare room in the spare bed ha ha ha.

well im going bed all on my own it looks like well at least i will have more room than i normally get .
