My partner went to Poland for 2 nights last week with work and he went out for meals/drinks on both nights. Last night I saw a notification pop up on his phone that a girl with a Polish sounding name had added him on FB so I looked her up on my FB and she’s from the area that he was staying in, v pretty & about same age as us (26). He’s going away again today (same place) and this morning I asked him very casually if it was mainly men/women on these after work drinks, he said it was all men and the only woman on site was about 50 (so not the girl I’m thinking of) - am I just being paranoid here or would you find this odd? He clearly met this girl for her to be adding him?

Yes that's a bit suspicious, has he accepted the request? Could it be a colleague is friends with her and she has added him as he came up as a suggested friend?

Why is the work do in poland?

does the company have offices or a branch over there? could she be an employee / sales rep or organiser over there?

I think it says something that she added him, not the other way around, but why not just ask him?
