I can honestly say that I haven't worn lingerie for my partner.. though I have thought about it quite a few times!
He works away and is back on Friday, for the first time ever he text me saying 'are you going to dress up for me'.. and I did feel excited about it.. I bought a nice black revealing number from Love Honey.. it came today and now that I have seen it I'm scared / nervous to wear it!
I don't know why, I don't even know how to go about putting it on for him! Blush

I just don't know how to go about doing it, do I wait for him to come in the bedroom and see me on the bed? I don't know why but I keep thinking he'll laugh for some reason, I have no idea how to be sexy at all, but he has never asked for me to do this for him, we have been together for nearly 2 years

I sometimes get like this with sexy lingerie. I wear it under my clothing, which I then take off when I feel confident and relaxed enough. Always gets a positive response, and there isn't the initial awkwardness of lying on the bed "posing" waiting for him to come in!

Yeah I do, I just get nervous for some stupid reason as he has seen me with nothing on before, but I want to feel like I look good, I have this thing about my thighs and hips and with him not seeing me in anything like this before I don't want him to be turned off :(

OP there is no chance he’s gunna be turned off! I can promise you that!

I often surprise DP. Sometimes I’ll open the door wearing something. Other times I’ll put something nice on but then put my dressing gown over the top so he doesn’t know. It could be 5 minutes or it could be an hour when he just so happens to realise I’ve got something else on under the dressing gown and it’s a nice surprise for him

Maybe try that if you’re too nervous to do the whole walking into the bedroom wearing the outfit?

I once cooked a nice dinner in a very short dress and sexy stuff underneath. Drove dp mad as he kept getting a little peak of what I was wearing under the dress.

As I was busy with dinner I didn't feel too self conscious about being "dressed up"

Safe to say we didn't make dessert lol

Thanks Ladies haha,

I think I'm swaying more towards putting it on and my dressing gown over the top, then when we go up to get down to it he'll know I mean business haha

I've did the whole waiting for him when he comes home, I am going red cringing now thinking about it Blush

I prefer to wear it under a dress or a low cut top so he can see the straps (if it's a lace bralette) and knows its show time 😂

Actually you are inspiring me. I haven't put my Ann Summers on for about six months because I have put on about 10 lbs, but I KNOW he doesn't care- if anything he just sees more, luscious sexy curves, where I see unsexy chubbiness! I need to bite the bullet and go for it! 😁

Put some sexy tunes on and have a light drink. I always wear a stunning dressing gown otherwise I feel completely stupid.

Aw op, you’re overthinking it.
I’ve always hated my thighs - too fat, cellulite, etc etc.
But DH adores them, and ........... TMI ......... loves nothing more than grabbing hold and stroking them when we’re up close and personal 🥰
Your DP has asked you for this - he will be so thrilled when he gets home.
Put your dressing gown over the top and go for it.

I've got quite a bit of lingerie from Lovehoney. I love wearing it and it drives DP wild. The first time I just excused myself and went upstairs, put it on and put my dressing gown over as he didn't know what I was doing. I just sat on the sofa and he walked in and very quickly twigged I had something far more interesting than pyjamas on underneath. I never did find out what the rest of his sentence was 😆.

Now I just walk downstairs in it, into the room he's in. Sometimes he knows I'm getting changed sometimes he doesn't.

Have fun! You could always tease him with a photo of you in it the day before 😉.
