Do I tell him he embarrasses me?

I've posted before about my DH's eating.

At the weekend we went to Frankie and Benny's and DH ordered 2 jacket spuds filled with cheese and onion as a starter, garlic bread as a starter and then a thick 15 inch pizza all to himself WITH CHIPS.

The waitress brought mine and the kids food across and a seperate waiter had to bring DH's seperately, he was smirking when he gave him it and said "do you think you can manage it?" and DH looked all embarrassed and said "it's to share between everyone really..." and the waiter laughed and replied "yeah yeah, whatever you say", by this point 3 tables where looking at us and laughing, DH made a right spectacle of us and when the waiter went back into the kitchen I saw the other chefs laughing and the waiter said something about us.

My dilema is, do I accept that this is the way DH is or do I tell him that his eating embarrasses me and makes me feel sick?

Oh God not you again...............Bog off.

Or I will find your previous posts under another name.

oh-er, whats goin on with that then bree?

madamez · 08/08/2007 23:15

Well, he may be risking his health by eating this much, but if he's a bodybuilder or big bloke who's very active then he's probably able to accomodate the extra calories. It's not really your business what another adult chooses to eat, and FWIW the waiter was being a rude w*nker to take the micky out of a paying customer like that.
If his table manners are icky (chewing with mouth open or whatever) that's another issue, of course.

Bee what are you on about? I said I'd posted about him before about his eating.

In answer to the other question, he is overweight but not massively, he doesnt excise at all though.
