Been together nearly 4 years as he is 9 years older than me I have another realistically 4 years at home with my youngest. So not to drip feed I have not passed my test realistically to get to his would take 6 hrs on public transport it takes an hour and a half to drive.

He gave me driving lessons for birthday present, I new after that I would never drive.

My question is do I continue knowing he's putting the work in

I will not drive, I will not take ds out of the school he knows. We have at least 4 more years of this

I miss him though I want him here, but his job means he can't.

whats the reason you won’t drive ?
I could imagine he would get fed up of doing all the travelling eventually

I thought I would never drive. Tons of medical issues but I forced myself to do lessons in an automatic car at 45! 50 lessons later, I passed my test and I would honestly not be without my car nowadays. Whether you pass your test for your own independence, or for this relationship is up to you...but I cannot stress how life changing the skill of driving is to adult life. If you hated your lessons, change instructor...I had a few...and try automatic cars if you find the skill difficult to master with gears. With a car, you can then determine if this relationship is right for you. You can stop focusing on the physical barriers and find out if you are compatible long term.

You need to ask him this and see what HE thinks.....

A 90 min car journey = 6 hour public transport?? Anywhere a 90 min drive from me is 2/3 hr max on public transport.
You don’t sound like your interested in making any effort at all, so either you’re selfish or couldn’t care. Just end it.
