Been ghosted by brother?

My relationship with DB Has been up and down and his wife doesn’t like me much. He has in the past gone no contact with me, and not told me. We live at other ends of the country.

Our parents are dead and following the death of my mum, my DBs marriage had a nose dive and he had an affair. We have seen each other a couple of times and have had reasonable texting back and forth.

Back in March I felt like I was always initiating contact and so said let’s see Rachel other, spend some time together with all the children. He replied positively and the last text was him saying great idea I’ll ping you some dates. I relied with a thumbs up smiley face.

Tht was in March. Nothing since.

So my question is-

Should I contact him? And if so what to say?

Yes of course. Tell him you miss him and you suggest a date for a get together

What makes you think his wife doesn't like you ? Do you like her ?

She has told me, my mum. She’s fallen out with us lots over the years. She is very jealous and reacts very badly to lot of things. She has no friends and is estranged from her own family

Try not to let that stop you connecting with your brother

She sounds a bit like my brother’s wife !
I love my brother though, and would never give up on him

Well I shall send him an opening message and see what comes back. In the morning as it will make me have a sleepless night otherwise waiting on the reply!
