Started seeing him??? End of April.
Just started hanging out and sleeping together.
Went out for food /drinks the usual
Text daily about all sorts
Haven't had any conversation about anything as didn't want to pressure him.
He was out last night
Said he fell over and sent me a pic saying think I have a love bite and a pic of him with a love bite
I don't know how I'm supposed to react to this

This reminds me of a relationship I was in when I was 21. My boyfriend turned up at my mums for dinner with a clear love bite on his neck.

I didn’t make a scene but afterwards told him to leave as I had seen the love bite after a night out with the lads (which incidentally he was uncontactable til around 2pm that day). I was later treated to his explanation that he had stayed over his mates and one of them found it funny to pin him down and pinch his neck to look like a love bite...

Erm... utter bull shit... and so proud that the 21 year old kick ass me just said “yeah right” it’s over... never saw him again... (47 now btw).

OP this is juvenile and pathetic and quite frankly an insult at his age. Don’t waste your time on any explanations. It’s as clear as the mark on his neck Shock.

Was the text meant for his mate? Wtf

cacklingmags · 01/09/2019 21:21

Dear me. Love bite from another woman and proud of it - very disrespectful and you also might catch something. Tell him to fuck the fuck right off.

FuriousVexation · 01/09/2019 21:26

I think he's giving you the message that he sees you as a FB. If you want more than this, sack him off.

He's not done anything wrong since you hadn't agreed exclusivity.

A 37 year old with a love bite. Ew.

PutyourtoponTrevor · 01/09/2019 21:35

Classy

disconnecteddrifter · 01/09/2019 22:37

Tell him that has put you right off him. Then ignore. What a twat

scoobydoo1971 · 01/09/2019 22:53

Love bites...best get yourself a STD check-up and dump him as they are gross, nasty injuries to skin...broken blood vessels are not sexy.

Sunflower20 · 01/09/2019 23:11

Sounds like a loser, who gets a lovebite thesedays?! Dump him.
