First night nerves

Well - new man and nice hotel booked and meal booked for out first night together. Am I'm absolutely shitting myself! In my 40s so should be a little more confident but am really really nervous about sleeping with him. I like him a lot but don't like my wobbly bits at all. And I've just started having period pain cramps so the timing is awful. Please wise MNetters help me calm down - all a dive welcome!

Nerves are exciting & a good sign 😊
This is lovely he's taking you on an overnight.
I actually miss the nerves and butterflies lol

After a glass of wine you'll feel better.

Everyone has wobbly bits and he won't care AT ALL! I suspect he'll take more of a lead the first time when it comes to it so that pressure is off you, go with the flow.

Advice? Just the usual stuff really, don't get too too drunk to calm your nerves, if your stomach is bad with nerves take imodium & make a safe food choice at your meal & be prepared incase your period pain comes to anything.

Once you're there the nerves will go away. Have an amazing night!

Thanks everafter ! He's a fantastic guy - has already said we'll find our own pace and doesn't want to push if I'm spitting butterflies Grin
Just so gutted about my period but too late to cancel now. He's very relaxed so hope he won't freak Blush

Relax and enjoy Grin

Have fun.

Remember it’s fine to change your mind if you want. At any time.

Be safe.

Everafter1 · 31/08/2019 12:03

That's great then!

Typical about your period, he'll understand & on the plus side you don't need to even consider that tonight. Next time you might be less nervous 😊

Sonervousabouttonight · 31/08/2019 12:20

Am raring to go now - must have been an uncharatertic brain fart from me Grin hoping prayingmy period is very light - usually are!
