What’s going on here?

Been married many years but recently realised DH has been abusive - poss narc. After another circular argument, he told me that he’s never apologised as things in the past are not as bad as I've made them out to be. Said he thinks that’s it for us & we need to talk over the practicalities.

Next day, he offers to pay for something expensive I need on private health but when I seem confused & refer back to prev day he asks me what did I hear him say like I’m misinterpreting it.

I think he’s minimising things in the past & gaslighting me?? Is that what’s going on??

Yes indeed it is.
Massive gaslighting.
So what is your next move?
