Dissolving a step parent parental responsibility agreement

Hi all, I need some help and advice if you don’t mind.

Let me start at the beginning.....

5.5 years ago I was widowed leaving me with 2 boys aged 2 and 12. 8 months into widowhood I met a new partner who I married just 8 months later. At their insistence I then entered into a step parent parental responsibility agreement for my youngest child (my eldest still had 2 parents with PR). Sadly this relationship has now ended due to domestic abuse (coercive control) and I’m wondering what to do about the PR agreement. Has anyone had one of these dissolved? I’m considering whether access is in my child’s best interests but I certainly do not want my ex to have a legal responsibility to my child. I feel so foolish but what’s done is done. How can I put this right?

You would need to obtain a court order according to co op legal services.
