Partners ex messaging him

ArlosMumma · 28/07/2019 13:02

The other day partner showed me messages his ex sent him saying how she missed him and she still loves him (this was on instagram so she could see he was with me and had a LO. Partner ignored it. Yesterday she messaged him again saying she loves him. Partner blocked her and today I went on partners phone because he asked me to reply to a message and I saw she messaged again saying she wants him back and partner already replied that he is with me and has son. And she said it can be there secret. Partner has blocked her again but she's just made a new account and has messaged again!

What should we do

He needs to contact the police and tell them she's harassing him.

Huskylover1 · 28/07/2019 13:07

Well personally, I would pay her a visit and tell her to back the fuck off.

Worst idea ever.

Continue to block, and if she doesn't stop within a couple of days, go to the police.

I would continue to block and if need be report it to the police. They may not be able to do anything immediately but if she starts physically stalking you both then you've got a trail.

He needs to stop accepting friend requests from random accounts with names of people he doesn't know though. It seems an obvious way to halt her.

Ellabella989 · 28/07/2019 13:23

I would send one message saying “contact me again and i’ll speak to the police about an harassment order”. After that I would block. She sounds nuts

Musti · 28/07/2019 13:25

Continue blocking and don't answer

Raspberrytruffle · 28/07/2019 13:34

Next time she messages send her a final clear reply saying he does not wish for her to contact him again and if she does not stop he will be contacting the police. Keep all the messages for the police and do not reply anymore after his final warning

pictish · 28/07/2019 13:36

What Raspberry said there. Good advice.

Pinkbonbon · 28/07/2019 13:43

First off...is it even her? I mean are you sure partner isn't sending them to himself to make you jealous?

I mean I don't think many women would have carried on after he told her he wasn't interested and had a kid. Let alone offer to be a secret bit on the side. Seems like something's guy might send, pretending to be a women.

If it is her though, I would have partner reply 'if you contact me again, I will report you to the police for harassment' and block her again.

saywhatnoww · 28/07/2019 17:34

He must be unblocking her if he keeps receiving messages. Once someone is blocked you do not receive messages from them unless you unblock them. Maybe he should keep her blocked!

CarolDanvers · 28/07/2019 17:38

Well if she creates new accounts they won't be blocked so she will still be able to contact him.
